We have received our allocation of 6 Nations International Tickets. Anybody member interested in seeing any of the matches should see Dean Mitchell during the Registration Day (Sunday 5th September), between 10:30 and 12:00.
The season starts this Saturday with our 1sts/2nds playing against Bournemouth 3rds on Sept 4th, 3pm start at Bournemouth.
Lytchett Minster Rugby Club Ltd is based in Dorset, but we currently play our rugby in both the Hampshire and Dorset and Wilts Leagues. Having been promoted in the 2006-2007 season the first team finished mid table in 2007 and are therefore playing in the Hampshire II league this season. After a successful season the second team managed get promoted and will therefore be playing their rugby in the Dorset and Wilts South 2 league.
Our ground is next to the St. Peters Finger Pub in Lytchett Minster. At the begin of the 2003 season we opened our new club house. This was as a result of 19 years of fund raising. New for the 2008-2009 season are flood lights for the pitch next to the main road. This means that matches can be played in the evening, with the first scheduled for the 2nd September again Blandford.
