Lytchett Start the Season Well
Both teams participated in a trial match on Saturday, enabling large squads to be tested.
Lytchett dominated for much of the match, and managed to score 4 tries, the best of which was scored by Bill Holderness. The prop finished off a rampaging move straight from the kick off for the second half. Lytchett's new hooker, Gwillym Poole, made a dominating run and passed to second row Rob Ansell, who passed onto the supporting flanker Tom Harry, who was tackled just short of the line and Bill Holderness picked up the ball and dived in for the try. Other tries for Lytchett were from Peter 'The Bullet' Lloyd, Gwillym Poole and Daryl Corrack.
Ellingham and Ringwood scored 2 tries of there own late on, making the final score Lytchett Minster 24 Ellingham & Ringwood 10.
