Lytchett Dominate At Home


Lytchett Minster hosted Overton on Saturday with the travelling side looking for there first league win of the season. However, they found the manor men on form and were not able to score a point, with Lytchett winning 27 - 0.

Lytchett scored 4 tries in total. Firstly young prop Chris Worrall beat two men to smash over and following a period where the Lytchett forwards completely dominated, flanker Andy Mac fought his way over the line. Both of these tries were converted and Lytchett led at half time 14 - 0.

The second half started brightly for Lytchett with Oz Goldchain added an extra 3 points soon after the break. Flanker John Bryant throw a good dummy mid way through the second half and found himself one on one with the full back. Bryant rounded the last man to score in the corner. The try was not converted, but the score had been increased to 22 - 0. Bryant finished with a flourish, when his well timed pop pass stopped the Overton defence and allowed scrum half Sean Greenpost to score a final try. The try was no converted, but Lytchett had recorded their second league win, running out victorious 27 - 0.
