New £600,000 Club House
The new club house was completed for the start of the 2003- 2004 season.
It means that the long suffering players and supporters of Lytchett Minster Rugby Club now have some of the most modern and impressive facilities of any club in the adjacent counties. The impressive building is the result of 19 years of fund raising. The building will aid the local community, as it provides facilities for many sporting activities; including rugby, archery and cricket.
On entering the club you step into a large reception area; to the left are the changing rooms and storage areas, to the right are the committee room and members lounge and straight in front is the bar and main hall area.

The main function room contains the bar and can comfortably hold 150 people. There is access to the kitchen via a large opening so refreshments and food can be served. There are three large storage cupboards along the left hand wall so that all of the tables and chairs can be cleared away, when the facility is not in use.
We are lucky to have acquired a large 52" TV, which is great to watch the international rugby on.
The bar and main hall area can be hired as a function room.

Clubhouse Patio Area
From the main function room double french doors open directly onto a patio area, where there is seating. The allows for perfect views of the two rugby pitches, the first team pitch being only 20 meters away, so you don't even have to leave the comfort of the bar to watch the match.
Within the changing area there are 4 large changing rooms, dedicated changing facilities for the referees, storage rooms, toilets and lockers.
Lytchett Minster are hoping that the new facilities will attract new players and anybody wishing to play should turn up to training on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm or alternatively email Gordon Glover at gord.glover@virgin.net or call him on 01202 698678 for more details.
